After around 20 days, the temperature has again dipped to 0°C in the Munnar hill station in Idukki this week. Munnar is now experiencing one of coldest period of the season, as Devikulam recorded minus one degree celsius. This has led to beautiful snowfalls in the region, and tourists from various places are seen flocking towards munnar to experience this amazing climatic environment. The tourists are busy visiting Munnar to enjoy its cold and scenic beauty.
The Chenduvarai Estate recorded one degree celcius and places such as Sevenmala and Nallathanni recorded two and 3 degree celsius respectively. There is intense cold wave in these regions and is expected to continue in the coming days as well. This will again result in an exponential increase in the number of tourists coming to Munnar. As of now, most of the lodges, hotels, and, resorts in Munnar are heavily occupied by tourists from different parts.
